Wildlife Materials Receivers
I can highly recommend Wildlife Materials TRX series of Falconry Receivers.
I personally use a TRX-100 with Merlin transmitters, one of their Yagi antennas with a pistol grip and a headset. I find the headset is a great help as it is difficult to hear the signal clearly if you are close to a highway with background noise for instance.
Most falconers find a TRX-16S with a pistol grip is perfectly adequate as well as being much smaller.
