Lure Poles
The lure pole combined with a high-tech latex flapping winged lure is one the best tools for conditioning a falcon. Unlike the hand lure, the lure pole allows the falcon more flying room and this promotes confidence in young birds.
The falcon is encouraged to make vertical stoops more easily. There is no need to let go of the pole when the falcon binds because the flexible pole absorbs the force generated at impact. Superior footing ability is developed very quickly. All of the falcons trained for the gulf are extensively lure pole flown and have shown amazing willingness to return to the lure from long distances.
